This Japanese style vehicle has had an illustrious history throughout the years. Here are our favorite Nissans of all time:
Nissan Leaf 2011-Present
This is a fairly new car and is an electric vehicle. It is a vehicle with a high capacity battery and powerful engine. The average speed on this car is only 73 miles per hour so this car isn't for everyone. It is an ideal vehicle for those who live in the city or those who have a short commute to work.
Nissan Skyline GTR 1999-2002
While this Nissan Skyline GTR never made it to the United States market. Nissan spent a good part of the 1990’s redefining its large all-wheel drive sports car into a luxury driving machine.
Nissan 300ZX 1990-1996
The Nissan 300ZX comes in a twin-turbo 3.0 liter V6 engine that produces an amazing 300 horsepower as well as 283 feet pounds of torque. It was a rather costly vehicle so it made its departure from the United States market in 1996.
Nissan Altima 2007-2012
This Nissan Altima was the 4th generation model for the L32 from Nissan. When this car hit the Unites States vehicle market in 2007 it was a much better car than its counterpart from Japan. It has not only a better performance but there is also an option for a V6 engine. In 2012, the Nissan Altima won the top pick for family sedans from Consumer Reports.
Datsun 240Z/Nissan Fairlady Z 1970-1973
For over 40 years, Nissan has been producing Z vehicles. The Datsun 240Z/Nissan Fairlady Z is the one that started it all. This car had the reputation of being called “The Poor Man’s Porsche.” The reason that it had this reputation is because it had a cheap base price along with amazing driving capabilities and a body that was half Jaguar and half Japanese. The original Fairlady had a 2.4 liter engine with 151 horsepower.
Nissan GTF 2008-Present
In July of ’08, Nissan gave its car buyers in the United States the opportunity to purchase one of its line of GTR fancy sports coupes. From then until the present-day 2013 model, Nissan has continued to make the car better performing as well as other improvements. The 2013 model has 545 horsepower with 463 feet pounds of torque. It can hit 0 to 60 in just 3 seconds.
Datsun 1500 1963-1965
This 1963 roadster has a much more powerful engine and a larger platform than the vehicles in previous years. The 1963-1965 Datsun 1500 roadster is very similar to the Triumph but it has more of a Japanese character.
